Terms of service

Last updated · July 2026

These terms govern any engagement between PedonWeb ("we") and a client ("you") for design and engineering services, and your use of this website.

Scope of work

Each project is governed by a separate proposal or statement of work specifying deliverables, timeline, and price. These terms apply alongside that document; where the two conflict, the signed proposal governs.

Payment

  • Fixed-scope projects are billed in milestones as set out in the proposal; retainer engagements are billed monthly in advance.
  • Invoices are due within 14 days. Work may pause on accounts more than 14 days overdue.

Intellectual property

Ownership of final deliverables transfers to you on full payment. We retain the right to reuse general methods, non-confidential components, and our own tooling across other projects, and to reference completed work in our portfolio unless you request otherwise in writing.

Client responsibilities

Timely feedback, access to necessary systems, and accurate project information are the client's responsibility. Delays caused by missing input may adjust the agreed timeline.

Limitation of liability

PedonWeb's liability for any claim arising from an engagement is limited to the fees paid for the specific project giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

Termination

Either party may terminate an active engagement with 14 days' written notice. Work completed and costs incurred up to the termination date remain payable.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which PedonWeb is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
